Burlington, Mass. - January 18, 2005 - Z Corporation today announced that it has moved into 80-percent larger facility to meet the demands associated with its strong performance in 2004, which included a significant jump in orders and revenue for its line of 3D printers, and a 25-percent increase in the number of employees. The corporation's new headquarters are located in a technology park at 32 Second Avenue in Burlington, Massachusetts, about 15 miles north of Boston.

The corporation attributes its strong growth numbers to outstanding performance in sales of its entry-level 3D printers, increased productivity in the corporation's worldwide reseller channel, expansion into new international markets, and continued growth in consumable revenue.

"We remain on a growth path directly related to the success of our industry-leading 3D printing technology in the rapidly expanding market for 3D printers," says Marina Hatsopoulos, Z Corp. Chief Executive Officer. "Our technology is well-positioned to continue to grow market share, and we will introduce new 3D printing products that are not only easier-to-use and less costly but that also produce models of greater and greater quality. In order to finance our strong growth, Z Corp. closed two major equity investments in 2004 to further fuel our technology and product development as well as our sales and marketing activities."

According to Tom Clay, Z Corp. President, the company's success has led to significant manufacturing rate increases and employee growth, resulting in additional space needs. "Our new building provides manufacturing and office space that are more suitable to the size and pace of our operations. We expect our success to continue as the 3D printing market expands. We have seen growth in non-traditional vertical markets, such as architecture, medical products, and GIS mapping applications. We have expanded our engineering group and will intensify the group's efforts to make 3D printing as fast, affordable, and easy to use as 2D desktop printing," Clay says.

Z Corp. completed the move into its new facility on January 17, 2005, and celebrated the tenth anniversary of its founding by opening for business at its new address.
