ROCK HILL, South Carolina, June 29, 2010 – 3D Systems (NASDAQ: TDSC), announced today that the historic Penland School of Crafts in North Carolina is incorporating the use of its V-Flash® Desktop Printer into their innovative summer program. The school plans to harness this fast, affordable and precise printer to transform the way its students express their creativity and craft.

Recognized for its pioneering and continued leadership role in democratizing access to affordable 3D printing solutions, 3D Systems will participate in the Penland School of Crafts guest speaker series. Rajeev Kulkarni, vice president of engineering, will present “iSolutions for the 21st Century,” a look at the growing importance of 3D printing and additive manufacturing technologies. The presentation will take place June 30th at 1:30 pm and is open to the public.
