XOV2 is uniquely CAD-Friendly and easy to use. There are no macros to write, no coding to be done, the user simply opens any 3D CAD file, and lays out the inspection plan step by step. Each step is automatically recorded in an Inspection Plan List (IPL) for subsequent, one-button execution on the shop floor. Want to change an alignment or a tolerance? Simply select the step to be changed from within the IPL, make the change and the plan and results are updated without re-inspecting the part.

Rapidform XOV2 provides CAD deviation analysis and geometric dimensioning & tolerancing (GD&T). Tolerances and datum features may be entered manually, or may be imported directly from CAD via XOV's PMI (Product Manufacturing Information) translators. Making a report is as easy and familiar as creating a document in Microsoft word. XOV2 is suited for professional metrology-level inspection applications, with a rich feature set, including:
